Its time to say goodbye to this series

I love the dark series, but the last few ones have been boring....or repeat ...they haven't kept my attention...I thought I would give this one a try...but didn't make it past four chapters....I returned the book.....I guess I expect better.

Did not totally suck

Ms Feehan has introduced a lot more new hunters. Don't ask me to name them all. Too many to count. She is also repeating storylines for the women in the series. Think Skyler and her early beginning. She did on an aspect of this whole world that to me she never went into. Human men who had psychic abilities. Mainly what was happening to them after they got tested at the Morrison Center.
Now back t the man characters- Charlie ( Charlotte ) she was not like some of the fawning heroines previously introduced. She was not about being railroaded by Tariq. She stood her ground. The reason this is only getting 3 stars because she introduced so many storylines and did not even close out any of them. There are so many things left that I was left with a "Meh" feeling.
Would I say run out and buy it at $13.99 ? Yeah no. Wait for it to get to a cost that I feel it is worth via its content. That cost will be $5.99.

Series is getting stale but keeps on chugging.

I continue to buy each book in the Dark series and yet I think the series changed for the worse after Dark Possession. The stories went from being character driven love stories with lots of sex, fantastic adventures and vampires to primarily involving different protaganists fighting vampires and having sex. The characters are wooden and largely interchangeable and the love story is too forced to be either believable or a decent fantasy. Still I buy each one. The difference is I read and re-read the earlier books and the others are read once and forgotten, (though I might reread Dark Promise.)
